50ml Cognac
25ml fresh lemon juice
12.5ml Sugar syrup
1 Egg white (optional)
A few drops of Angostura (optional)
Shake ingredients vigorously with ice and strain into an ice filled Rocks glass
Garnish with a lemon zest and a Maraschino cherry
